Parveen Ebrahim is a Certified Yoga Therapist with the Australasian Association of Yoga Therapy (AAYT) and a Registered Yoga Teacher with the International Yoga Alliance (RYT200). She has experience teaching across Asia Pacific, including in her home of New Zealand, in Singapore and in Hong Kong. She has been practicing yoga and pranayama (breath awareness) since 2000.

Parveen has first-hand experience of the toll stress can take on one’s health. Practicing yoga and mindfulness provided much-needed balance in a fast-paced work environment that required long hours at a desk. It’s this understanding of the need for effective stress management that has led to The Yoga Effect.
